The Sanctuary seeks to provide a new cannabis buying experience that creates convenience to our customers and we are now looking to welcome a new Sales Manager Superstar to join our diverse, fun-loving team.
The Sales Manager will need strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills. In addition, a minimum of three years of retail management is required.
We are looking for an innovative thinker who not only has the ability to drive sales but also has strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns.
The ideal candidate fosters a growth mindset, can easily build a rapport with staff and customers, as well efficiently operate a high volume sales floor.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Overseeing the leadership team as well as all applicable staff on schedule
- Creating and maintaining a well strategized schedule which reflects economic fluctuations for holidays, time off, etc.
- Achieving sales goals as assigned by the General Manager as well as setting individual sales targets with the leadership team.
- Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
- Collaborating with the sales staff, inventory team , purchaser and marketing team to create store deals that increase foot traffic and satisfy / incentivize the consumer
- The ability to understand our customers, how they relate to our products and analyze this data to strategize sales
- Ensuring all applicable deals for the day are inputted into the POS system correctly and are functioning properly for customers.
- Regularly reviewing, monitoring and developing your sales teams performance through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education.
- Recognizing patterns or trends in sales data that may indicate opportunities or challenges
- Providing detailed reports to the General Manager, highlighting successes and areas needing improvement.
- Responsible for holding debriefs with the leadership team and reporting that information to the General Manager.
- Collaborating with the events coordinator and marketing team to maximize store events
- Ensuring the flow and operations of the sales floor are functioning properly
- Keeps store aesthetics, organization, merchandising, cleanliness and curb appeal as a top priority daily
- Collaborate with human resources department to develop training programs directed towards improving product education and sales tactics
Qualifications & Skills
- Three year of retail management
- Three to five years of sales experience
- Ability to design and implement a successful sales strategy
- Ability to understand and create sales reports through excel software
- Strong leadership and time management skills
- Accurate and efficient cash handling
- Ability to delegate and give clear direction
