Business Systems Analyst II

Position Description :

Position can be upgraded to a Senior with appropriate skill set.

Job Summary :

The selected candidate will report to the Manager, Enterprise Data and Analytics and the position is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

This position will be eligible for remote work with some travel or office meetings as needed. The candidate will manage the data product lifecycle for enterprise data and analytics solutions.

This includes defining use cases, user acceptance testing, creating and maintaining documentation and supporting user adoption.

Must have legal authority to work in the U.S.

What you will do :

Performs all aspects of work related to defining business needs, data product documentation, tracking user issues, testing, and training for data products applicable to business unit supported.

Leads efforts to define, document, and maintain data product specifications including business processes, functional requirements, and functional designs.

Provide end-user support that may require collaboration with multiple business or technical teams to identify root causes and appropriate solutions.

Invest time with business to continually develop an intermediate level of business knowledge of the business unit(s) supported.

Leads small to medium reviews of business requests for new functionality and collaborates with business requestor to clearly define business needs and collaborate with appropriate teams to determine solution that aligns with enterprise strategy.

Develops and maintains end-user training materials, job aides and support training delivery. Deliver simple training instruction to end-users.

Designs testing procedures to measure efficiency and integrity of data product.

Documents and executes moderate to complex data test cases. Assist in the planning and execution of data product testing.

Creates and executes simple to moderately-complex SQL queries as needed to support the data product lifecycle.

Performs business analysis tasks as a member of a project team.

Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

What you will need :

Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.

Understanding of data concepts such as data modeling and data engineering.

Ability to write basic SQL queries for data product testing and validation.

Understanding of when to apply statistical analysis and data visualization.

Experience with product development lifecycle methodology (Waterfall and Agile) and project management concepts.

Demonstrated ability to interact, advise, guide, train, and communicate effectively.

Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English. Mobility to travel in and around office surroundings. Communicate and / or exchange information or instructions;

conduct oral presentations and / or meetings.

Visual ability sufficient to perform job duties.
