Job Summary :
Our client, a mid-sized established environmental engineering company with international operations, is looking for a Global Benefits Manager.
This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing employee benefit programs across multiple regions to ensure they are competitive, compliant, and aligned with the organization’s goals.
This role will oversee benefits administration globally, including health, wellness, retirement, and leave programs, while collaborating with regional HR teams to address local needs and regulatory requirements.
The Global Benefits Manager will also analyze benefits data to drive decision-making and enhance the overall employee experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Benefits Strategy : Develop and manage global benefits strategies that align with the company’s business objectives and employee needs.
- Program Management : Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of global benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, insurance, and leave policies.
- Compliance : Ensure benefits programs comply with local regulations in all operating regions, including audits and updates as laws change.
- Vendor Management : Manage relationships with global benefits providers, ensuring service level agreements are met and cost efficiencies are achieved.
- Employee Communication : Develop communication strategies to ensure employees understand their benefits and how to use them effectively.
- Data Analysis : Monitor and evaluate global benefits data to identify trends, manage costs, and improve program offerings.
- Collaboration : Work closely with regional HR teams to customize benefits offerings based on local needs and feedback.
Key Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience : 5+ years of experience in benefits management, with 3+ years in a global or multi-region role.
- Skills : Strong knowledge of global benefits practices, excellent vendor management, and analytical skills.
- Certifications : Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), SHRM-SCP, or other relevant certifications preferred.
- Technology : Proficient in HRIS and benefits administration platforms.
