Senior Financial Analyst Consultant (Contract / Consulting Engagement)

Vaco Resources is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst Consultant to join our client's dynamic team in Irvine, CA.

This contract-based role is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional who excels in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop complex financial models to support decision-making regarding financial planning, investments, and capital expenditures.
• Conduct detailed forecasting and budgeting to guide business strategies.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze large datasets and provide actionable insights.
• Implement and manage financial systems such as Hyperion and advanced ERP systems to streamline processes.
• Leverage SQL for database management and to extract critical financial information.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel (macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP / SUMIF functions).
• Experience with Hyperion and advanced ERP systems.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
