We are seeking problem solvers with a passion for designing custom engineering solutions for real world problems using physics-based design principles.
This position is for structural and mechanical drafting in a consulting engineering firm serving industrial clients. You will participate in the design of a wide variety of systems and structures for a range of different industrial processes and industries.

Let’s talk about you. Requirements for this position :
- Drafting Technical Certificate from an accredited institution, Drafting Apprenticeship Certificate, or equal experience
- Ability to use Autodesk AutoCAD in 2D and 3D
- Ability to use Office Products
- Organizational skills
- Teamwork mentality and ability to coordinate / consult with coworkers to meet objectives
- Eager to learn, grow, and participate in an open book management company
Bonus points if you have experience :
- Creating 3D models along with 2D details and sections
- Checking drawings for errors, standards, and completeness
- Perform mathematical calculations for geometric relations in designs
- Experience with mechanical engineering (things like : piping, conveyors, shakers, screens, mills, power transmission, pumps, dust collection, HVAC and other material handling)
- Experience with structural / civil engineering (things like : structural steel, concrete, excavation, demo)
- Using Plant 3D, Navisworks, Recap, Advanced Steel, SolidWorks, or Revit
Physical Requirements :
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of construction sites.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to work in person from our office in beautiful Pocatello, Idaho. This is not a remote position.
