ESSENTIAL DUTIES / SKILLS / RESPONSIBILITIES :

Job Description

Industrial Painter-position available for an Industrial Painter / sandblaster with experience in mixing and conventional applications of primers and multi-part epoxies.

Responsibilities will include working knowledge of paint specifications, surface prep verification, recording atmosphere and wet / dry readings with standard gauges, defect identification and repair techniques and equipment maintenance."

Experienced painter (5 years+)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of applicable safety regulations (OSHA, DEP. EPA)
• Three to five years of verifiable experience in a heavy industrial / manufacturing environment is preferred
• Previous experience in a paint environment
• Strong communication skills, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug testing.

WORK CONDITIONS :

• Primary work environment is a heavy industrial / manufacturing worksite (inside and outside activities)
• Proper personal protective equipment is required at all times, such as, steel toed shoes, ear protection, safety glasses, long pants, etc.
