Position Summary

The Director of Marketing is responsible for modeling the Compassus values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Innovation and for promoting the Compassus philosophy, using the 6 Pillars of Success as the foundation.

S / he is responsible for upholding the Code of Ethical Conduct and for promoting positive working relationships within the company, among all departments, and all external stakeholders.

The Director of Marketing is responsible for identifying, aligning, developing, and implementing effective brand solutions for organizational growth and advancement.

S / he spearheads the visual aspects of the company's branding and marketing fulfillment including oversight of creative development leading the efforts from conceptualizing to executing projects and campaigns across a national footprint.

Position Specific Responsibilities

  • Leads, develops, manages, and implements national, regional, and local event strategies to support organizational business objectives, identifying solutions to support at scale.
  • Develops and fulfills strategic creative design projects for both internal and external audiences, to support service lines, products, departments, and partnership models, consistently leveraging the Compassus brand and culture as key differentiators.
  • Leads the deployment and implementation of Compassus branding aligned with local market needs.
  • Manages, mentors, and directs a team of creative and marketing professionals.
  • Develops and implements fulfillment tracking and reporting processes to improve brand utilization.
  • Creates clear project plans and manages multiple priorities to meet key deadlines, maintains a high degree of organization, and keeps track of detail and nuance within large programs.
  • Contacts and collaborates routinely with Executive and VP levels. This role requires high levels of collaboration for success and will require consistent interface with cross-functional teammates to determine the efficacy of plans and develop creative solutions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and / or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or Communications highly preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in the healthcare industry preferred; experience in a similar industry will be considered.

Skills

Mathematical Skills : Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.

Language Skills : Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, team members, investors, and external parties.

Strong written and verbal communications.

Other Skills and Abilities : Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English. Articulates and embraces integrated healthcare at home philosophy.

Physical Demands and Work Environment : The demands of this role necessitate a team member to effectively perform essential functions.

Adaptations can be made to accommodate team members with disabilities. Regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity are fundamental, along with the ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.

Visual acuity requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
