a branch of the Facilities Operations and Maintenance Division, provides comprehensive maintenance services in support of the University’s operations.

215. Applications will be reviewed online by the hiring department. This is a 40 hour work week schedule; Monday-Friday, hours to be discussed with supervisor.

Purpose

Responsible for advanced program administration and coordination. Responsible for all phases of program activities, including development, implementation, and assessment of a program or programs.

Responsibilities

  • Administer program through coordination of stakeholder activities, routine communication, contract renewals, monitoring budget, forecast budgeting, verification of program compliance and compliance documentation.
  • Continually monitor program for improvement opportunities by reviewing program adherence to scope, client needs and department goals.
  • Develop metrics to measure program success through adherence to scope, timeliness, budget maintenance and forecasting and customer satisfactions.
  • Develop program scope, identify processes, resources, roles and responsibilities, funding and contracts development to meet department needs.
  • Document program standard operating procedures, ensure communication to stakeholders and department, ensure easy access to program information.
  • Perform research and develop graphs, charts, spreadsheets, correspondence, reports, presentation materials, etc. as requested.
  • Provide timely and courteous customer service, keep management, employees and clients up-to-date on current policy, procedures and related official information.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a field related to the work to be performed. Five years of experience coordinating or administering a program.

Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree. More than five years of responsible level experience in program administration or program coordination.

Experience with UT systems, programs, software such as FAMIS, DEFINE, WORKQS, WORQSpace, and Tableau. Experience in general building maintenance, operations, building systems, construction process.

Salary Range

$60,000 + depending on qualifications

Additional Working Conditions :

This position and associated job duties have been designated as essential during extraordinary and emergency situations when the university is closed.

Essential personnel must maintain contact with their supervisor and report to work as regularly scheduled unless directed otherwise.

Required to operate an electronic device such as an iPhone, iPad, or laptop / desktop computer to perform and fulfill time reporting and work management requirements.

Work management requirements include receiving work assignments, updating work orders, and other functions as required.

  • May be required to work in confined spaces, manholes, tunnels, elevated work, extended shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Considerable walking, standing, squatting, stooping, and moving of heavy materials and equipment in all weather conditions.
  • May be required to use of personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing duties.
  • May be exposed to loud noise, high dust and allergen levels.
  • May be required to lift up to 50lbs. Often required to twist, grasp, push, pull and bend.
  • May be required to operate forklifts, personnel lifts and cranes. Operate job related equipment.
  • May be required to perform elevated work. Occasional work from ladders and / or scaffolds.
  • May require tuberculosis screening and occasional use of a respirator.
  • Drive University vehicles. Maintain acceptable driver rating as established in Policy : UTS157 Section 2.5.4.

Work Shift

40 hours a week, five 8-hour days, or possible four 10-hour days with schedule to be determined with supervisor. Some overtime, evening, weekends, and holidays possible.
