Shipping Clerk / Warehouse / Forklift

First Shift M-F with Saturday as needed per production. North Clearwater location.

Education and Experience :

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Able to familiarize with and interpret packing slips and accurately enter the information into the computer.
• Able to fill out bills of lading and be familiar with various forms regularly used by major freight carriers.
• Must be familiar with Fed Ex, UPS, and similar shipping company forms and regulations and online software.
• Must be familiar with most common material handling equipment and be a licensed forklift operator.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to sit, stand, bend, reach and move around the facility with ease.
• Able to be exposed to possible elements such as noise, dust, odors, etc.

You will train and perform :

• Assemble, package, protect, and label packages for shipment in alignment with customer orders.
• Load trucks using forklift
• Report shortages and follow up to locate items for incomplete orders.
• Prepare bills of lading following standard company procedure.
• Packing, crating, boxing and skidding of large, heavy or bulky products.
• Route shipments, involving a wide variety of classifications.
• Arrange for carrier pickup and delivery
• Transfer product received to applicable departments.
• Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• General Safety, Quality System Awareness and Small Tools Training

First shift Monday- Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with Saturday as needed per production.
