The Sr Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to generate profitable sales to meet new account and financial objectives, including gross margin.
Executes new business activities through prospecting, networking, and major account management activities. This includes setting pricing and negotiating contracts.

Responsibility Level
Implements and may provide input into strategic goals for organization and Goodwill business development team. Applies expertise in business development to support the development of policies, procedures, and programs.
Has familiarity with the business development budget and may provide input into spending decisions, particularly as pertains to vendors, systems, and projects.
Typically works on projects and initiatives that span 12 months - 2 years.

- Develop & maintain key customer relationships with current, new customers and develop key strategic partnerships to include regular interface with C-level executives and high-level key decision makers.
- Responsible for the achievement of revenue, gross margin and new account goals.
- Manage customer and industry / market trends, competitor activity, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Work with current members of Mission Operations Sales & Operations team to deliver across the board growth in all Operations.
Foster a positive working environment within Mission Operations and throughout Goodwill.
- Drive the RFP process to include timely quoting and the delivery of effective presentations. This includes coordination of the proposed service / work plan and closing the sale.
- Enters and updates customer and prospective customer data in appropriate tracking systems. Prepare reports as required.
- Maintains a safe and orderly work environment.
- Responsible for completing other duties / responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Associates Degree or experience equivalency, and a minimum of 7 years' experience.
- Experience in sales or marketing, or related experiences.
- High-functionality knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include calendaring and scheduling.
