Job Opportunity : HR Generalist with End-to-End Payroll Expertise
Location : Stockton, CA
Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist with a strong background in managing end-to-end payroll processes.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and possess excellent communication skills. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within our organization by ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while providing support across various HR functions.
Responsibilities :
Manage all aspects of payroll processing, including but not limited to data entry, payroll calculations, deductions, and tax compliance.
Maintain accurate records of employee compensation, benefits, taxes, and deductions.
Process payroll on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and related HR policies.
Collaborate with HR team members to support recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations initiatives.
Stay updated on relevant labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Administer leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA, and other statutory leaves, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
Manage workers' compensation claims, including reporting, documentation, and coordination with insurance providers and healthcare professionals.
Demonstrate flexibility and a "can-do" attitude by being willing to work in different areas of HR as needed to support departmental goals and initiatives.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
4+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on payroll processing and administration.
Proficiency in payroll software / systems (, ADP, Paychex, etc.) and MS Office suite.
Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
