Contract Position

This position is supporting the next generation in developing mission critical systems for our national defense. You would be a part of creating the most effective and state of the art technologies for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance supporting the Army, Navy, Air Force, Special Forces, and other Federal Government agencies working with our military.

Responsibilities :

Position is dedicated to the Computer Refresh Project. duties include identifying and installing applications, maintaining asset records, clear communications with endusers, delivery of new computers and recovery / processing of old computers.

The primary responsibility of this position is to build and prepare computers in order to refresh end user computers.

Responds to and diagnoses problems and answers queries regarding computer hardware, software, printers, network as part of the refresh

Maintains and updates records and tracking databases

Installs hardware and peripheral components, such as computers, network / telecom, monitors, keyboards, printers and disk drives

Loads and verifies correct operation of software packages, such as operating system, word processing and spreadsheet programs

Responsible for configuring desktop and laptop, and thin client computers

Maintains an inventory of all equipment, hardware, software and supplies

Qualifications :

• Possess necessary computer skills to proficiently handle routine tasks Performs a variety of duties in support of end-point computing devices, and peripherals.
• High School diploma is required or equivalent plus a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Displays high performance attributes
• Basic ability to work on assignments that are routine in nature
• Basic customer focus, communication and collaborative skills consistent with expectations for position
• Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, . citizenship is required.
