Job Title : Territory Sales Manager - Rural Healthcare Sales

Company : Sunflower Communities

Location : Twin Cities Metro - Mankato - Northern Iowa

Compensation : $60,000 to $80,000 + $500 commission per resident admission

Position Overview :

We are seeking a motivated Territory Sales Manager to lead our rural healthcare sales efforts across the Twin Cities Metro, Mankato, and Northern Iowa regions.

This role involves driving community and referral outreach for our Assisted Living communities, presenting our care options to referral sources and potential residents, and managing the admission process to ensure a seamless transition into our community.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Establish and maintain relationships with local healthcare professionals, including County Case Managers, Discharge Planners, and Social Workers
  • Engage with community organizations and healthcare workers through calls, meetings, events, and outreach initiatives
  • Meet with prospective residents and their families to provide comprehensive information about our care services
  • Represent Sunflower Communities at community events to increase brand awareness and drive referrals
  • Facilitate the admission process, ensuring a smooth transition for new residents into our communities

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred
  • Prior experience in Assisted Living, Sales, Case Management, or Social Work is ideal
  • Strong alignment with Sunflower Communities’ mission and operating philosophies
  • Familiarity with DHS guidelines for customized living and residential care services
  • Ability to self-motivate and operate independently in a rural healthcare sales environment
