Interim Administrative Director, Laboratory Services Needed in Texas Healthcare System
The Position
- An Interim Administrative Director, Laboratory Services, is needed to oversee laboratory operations across multiple locations.
- This role will report directly to the Administrator of Ancillary Services and will supervise five managers, one director, and approximately 170 FTEs.
- The position will play a crucial role in maintaining current operations while developing and implementing new processes and equipment, managing planned upgrades, and ensuring quality and process improvements.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, attention to detail, and a focus on process improvement.
- Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree highly preferred.
- ASCP certification required.
- Previous healthcare experience required.
