Description
Seeking a Commercial Underwriter for a Regional Property & Casualty Insurance Company.
Maintain profitable new and renewal commercial lines accounts, including workers' compensation, general liability, and property, through risk evaluation and market analysis.
Mentor new hires and underwriting assistants, manage assigned agents, and achieve business objectives for new accounts, renewals, and loss ratios.
Reviewing submissions, analyzing risks, and discuss with agents to ensure accurate underwriting decisions, while collaborating with other departments to manage risk.
Support business development through agent meetings and handle special projects as needed.
Excellent communicator, hard worker with high energy to hit the ground running
Degree a plus, with 3-5+ years of Commercial Underwriting experience.
