Job Summary :

We are seeking a Project Manager specializing in high voltage substation projects. This role involves leading and managing substation projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet safety, quality, schedule, and budget requirements.

The employer is a renowned EPC made up of power-focused professionals, engaged in major projects with some of the largest utilities in the US.

Job Description :

The Project Manager will lead and manage high-voltage substation projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead substation engineering projects from start to finish.
  • Establish and coordinate project teams.
  • Develop and monitor project schedules and costs.
  • Serve as the primary client contact for substation projects.
  • Review and manage contracts and change orders.
  • Conduct risk reviews and manage project risks.
  • Provide detailed project cost forecasts and reports.
  • Oversee project controls, including scheduling and progress tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with safety programs and QA / QC processes.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in substation or power projects.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience with document control, scheduling, and cost control.
