KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to support the multi-billion-dollar Plaquemines project developing a Liquid Natural Gas export facility when fully developed will have an export capacity of up to 20 million metric tonnes per year.
The facility’s location is about 20 miles south of New Orleans. This project is expected to be a multi-phase project spanning two years.
Aligning with KBR’s commitment to sustainability, the 630-acre site located on the Mississippi River provides deep-water access without the need for dredging, allowing for an expedited environmentally friendly development process.

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for measuring and evaluating installed quantities against plan. The Quantity Surveyor will work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure projects are completed within budget and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Responsibilities :
- Monitor construction progress by measuring and evaluating installed quantities against the plan
- Ensure contract compliance and consolidate and coordinate that information to the project team
- Support the weekly and monthly project progress meetings
- Lead the input of figures and supporting narrative for the monthly Project Management Review (PMR) meeting
- Prepare any defined progress audit queries for the Auditor
Experience & Skills :
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
