Job Summary

THIS POSITION IS ONLY FOR CURRENTLY ENROLLED CLAYTON STATE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS WHO QUALIFY FOR FEDERAL WORK STUDY!

CIMS at Clayton State University is seeking a Student Office Assistant to work in the Dean's Office during the academic year of 2023 - 2024.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the position includes friendly customer service skills, communicate effectively both written and orally, answer / transfer calls to their appropriate offices, sort and distribute mail on a daily basis.

Filing, making copies, scanning documents, data entry, sort, shred, fax, type / create labels, desk coverage during executive assistant absences, empty shredders in the dean's offices.

Assist with setup / breakdown / cleanup during special functions or luncheons, deliver documents across campus, assist with inventory as needed, organize supply rooms periodically, maintain orderly appearance of work area and other tasks assigned to you.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be freshman, sophomore, junior or senior student currently attending Clayton State University. Students who are interested in this position need to submit an updated resume.

Good listening and communication skills, accuracy and attention to detail, customer service oriented, organized, filing / phone etiquette, interpersonal and social skills.
