Job Title : Windows Imaging and Deployment Specialist
Job Overview : We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Windows Imaging and Deployment Specialist to join our team on a 6-month contract basis.
This role involves providing Level 3 (L3) support for a government client, with a focus on troubleshooting and resolving provisioning errors rather than engineering new images.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in image engineering support, SCCM, Windows, networking, and Adaptiva platform software.
This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with most of the time spent onsite at our configuration center in Coppell, TX.
The first 2-3 months will be fully onsite, with the possibility of some remote work flexibility thereafter.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide L3 support and troubleshooting for image provisioning errors.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure successful deployment and maintenance of Windows images.
- Utilize SCCM for software deployment, updates, and troubleshooting.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of networking issues, particularly involving Blue Ridge routers and Cisco switches.
- Support the Adaptiva platform software, ensuring smooth operation and resolving any issues that arise.
- Work closely with government clients to understand and address their technical needs.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Image Engineering : Experience in supporting and troubleshooting image provisioning (no new image engineering required).
- SCCM : Strong knowledge of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for software management and troubleshooting.
- Windows : Expertise in Windows operating systems, including deployment and maintenance.
- Networking : Basic knowledge of networking, including experience with Blue Ridge routers and Cisco switches.
- Adaptiva Platform Software : Familiarity with Adaptiva and its use in software distribution and endpoint management.
Additional Details :
Onsite Requirement : This role will initially require 100% onsite work at our Coppell, TX configuration center for the first 2-3 months.
After this period, there may be some flexibility for remote work.
- Work Hours : 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Contract Length : 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs.
