The successful candidate will demonstrate their ability to think strategically and be innovative while working in an agile and collaborative team-oriented environment.

The candidate must be comfortable working with analysts, engineers, and architects across multiple teams to collaboratively design creative solutions to complex problems.

You will support complex implementations across our Network and Application teams, act as a Tier 2 response, and assist with daily operations.

Must have intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn new skills and technologies along with an excellent work ethic and great communication skills.

Candidates must have the ability to plan, prioritize, execute, and manage large projects to deliver for network services.

This role demands excellent project management skills, great interpersonal skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Candidate Responsibilities

MAY REQUIRE ON SITE SUPPORT AS NEEDED IN SPRINGFIELD, VA

Support, operate, and maintain large scale, critical Network environment, platforms, and services

Triage, analyze, and perform root cause analysis for network-related issues

Provide 24x7 after hours on-call support and support for off-hour implementations

Leverage enterprise network management platforms and practices to run large-scale deployments efficiently and effectively

Understand and promote network standards, reference architectures, and frameworks; develop and maintain strategic roadmaps for network platforms and services

Work directly with external partners

Candidate Qualifications

The successful candidate should have experience in several of the areas listed below and a willingness to learn new skills to bridge any gaps :

Enterprise networking experience

Understanding of secure network designs and security compliance requirements

Experience with Cisco Data Center and Client Access Switching Platforms

Experience with WAN technologies and Cisco Router Platforms

Experience with Cisco security and wireless platforms (ASA / FTD Firewalls, Identity Services Engine)

Experience with network performance, capacity, configuration, and fault management

Experience with Remedy ticketing system

Experience in Change management

Experience working in agile environment

Candidate Experience and Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience

Experience : 3-5 years related experience in a large-scale network environment

Certifications : Network + or CCNA

AZ 900 certified preferred

Annual Salary

$76,000.00 - $157,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate / annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate.

Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
