The person in this role will be responsible for deployments, ongoing enhancements, and management of our enterprise-level Salesforce ecosystem.
This includes but is not limited to Sales, Service, and Consumer Cloud as well as associated integrations, with an emphasis on Marketing.
The scope of responsibility includes both local and global solutions for business units that may include Americas, Asia Pacific trading blocs and the corporate function.
With guidance from the Director of Enterprise Business Systems, this role supports and contributes to the vision and the long-term information technology strategic plan which in turn supports the strategic goals and objectives of the business entities supported.
This position has the flexibility of working remote or a hybrid schedule if based in the San Diego area.
Responsibilities
- Implement Salesforce solutions based on business requirements and best practices
- Document and demonstrate user stories and solution functionality
- Estimate and plan delivery phases and activities
- Design and test solutions with security and privacy standards
- Present and evaluate solution options and scope changes
- Develop and participate in training and adoption
- Use agile and ITIL methodologies and tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Management of Information Systems, or significant years of technology field experience
- Active certification in Salesforce Platform Developer I or II, Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, or Marketing Cloud Consultant.
- 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce configuration experience and proven understanding of a full software development lifecycle with a focus on the Marketing Cloud
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with implementation and integration of packaged applications with Salesforce and its ecosystem
- At least one year of both mobile and Lightning development experience
- Experience in requirements gathering sessions and documenting the outcome, including designing process flows and helping define test scripts
- Experience in working with agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Jira, and DevOps
- Basic knowledge of programming using one or more of the languages such as APEX, Visualforce, JavaScript, Typescript, Python etc.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
