Accounting Assistant

Primary Responsibilities :
- Manage all general ledger functions, including preparing account reconciliations and related journal entries
- Assist the Business Manager with identifying and implementing process efficiencies across the organization
- Serve as a backup for the Accounts Receivable process
- Contribute to the annual audit and other various reporting tasks
- Perform other assigned accounting tasks as needed
Required Skills and Experience :
- Associate degree in accounting, minimum
- At least 2 years of experience in accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Willingness to learn new software
- High attention to detail, ability to multitask, and strong communication skills
- Analytical mindset with proactive problem-solving abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and build rapport with management and the finance team

Salary :
$24 - $28 p / h DOE
