Summary :
We are seeking an RF Engineer at our GoerTek Santa Clara office to work on consumer electronics products. The RF Engineer in this position serves as the primary technical point of contact and in-house expert for a wide range of products and acts as the interface between the company and its customers.
The RF Engineer will guide the RF product development process, work with our factory R&D team, production engineering, and other teams to introduce new products, improve design performance, and solve RF related issues arising in production.
Other duties may be assigned.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create and review product specifications; create and publish application notes, research papers, and presentations and reports.
- Guide and assist the R&D and engineer team of the company to satisfy customers’requirements; provide technical training to resellers, distributors, and internal personnel.
- Conduct RF design work in partnership with the R&D team - conduct RF design and review simulation / tuning / optimize performance, review and analyses validation results and work to troubleshoot issues, and present results and findings.
- Help the company to introduce new products applying cutting-edge RF technology and assist Sales Team to secure business.
Responsibilites :
- 3+ years or equivalent experience in RF design.
- Understand RF design process and capable of driving PDP from early prototyping, tuning,
- validation. and certification in specific areas.
- RF Schematic and layout design and review, RF tuning and optimization.
- Perform simulations for RF design (3D EM and circuit level simulations) is a plus
- Familiar with Ansys HFSS, CST software
- Bachelor's degree in RF engineering, physics, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering field.
- Good communication skills and team player. Fluent in conversational Mandarin is highly desired.
