Description

The Estée Lauder Companies is seeking a strategic and creative social media professional to lead the development and execution of the company’s corporate social media channels.

As a key member of the Global Communications team, the Senior Manager, Social Media will develop a long-term social media strategy to ensure ELC’s channels reflect relevant company announcements and align with its core narratives and values.

This role is responsible for ideating and driving engaging content across channels and platforms, working closely with internal stakeholders to effectively enhance brand visibility, elevate ELC’s executives and employees, and foster meaningful connections with key audiences.

This role will oversee the Coordinator, Global Communications, who is responsible for community management across all platforms, including publishing all content, timely communication with key audiences, and issues and risk mitigation.

This role requires a strong understanding of digital trends and cultural awareness, excellent collaboration skills, and a knack for engaging storytelling.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with the company’s key messages and business priorities.

Create and manage a global content calendar, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align social media efforts with relevant campaigns, announcements, and product launches.

Oversee all published content on Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.

Ideate compelling, high-quality content ideas (including copy, visuals, and videos) that resonate with target audiences across channels.

Monitor social media trends, tools, and analytics to identify opportunities for innovation and growth, and stay ahead of industry changes.

Oversee community management strategy to increase engagement with key audiences and expand reach.

Analyze performance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize content strategy.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

7-9 years of experience in social media management, with a proven track record of executing successful campaigns across various platforms.

Deep understanding of social media platforms (including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), their unique features, and best practices for content optimization.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and adapt tone to fit different audiences and channels.

Strong analytical skills and experience using social media analytics tools (e.g., Dash Hudson, Opal, Sprinklr) to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and inspire a team, foster collaboration, and mentor rising talent.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for innovation in digital and social media.

Experience in working with a globally matrixed multi-brand organization preferred.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $99,400 to $163,800. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget.

Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
