About this Role :

Under the general supervision of the Staff Services Manager (SSM) I, the incumbent independently performs the more responsible and complex Performance and Classification Section services for one or more departmental divisions.

Utilizes personnel methodologies for managing employees within the three-phased system of discipline. Applies classification principles utilizing the state Merit based hiring process when evaluating positions and organizational proposals.

Researches and provides resolutions / recommendations per State Personnel Board (SPB) and Department of Human Resources (CalHR) laws, rules, and regulations.

Statement of Qualifications Requirement Section
