California Staff Accountant

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to manage various financial operations and ensure accuracy in accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Review and categorize transactions in QuickBooks, manage customer billing, and handle accounts payable

Assist with monthly financial closing, reconcile GL accounts, and process referral payments

Prepare and file 1099 forms and assist with audits and foreign VAT reporting

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

3-5 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role

Highly skilled in QuickBooks Online, G Suite, Excel, and accounting software

Strong knowledge of GAAP

Ability to work independently in a remote environment
