Job description - 3rd Shift Position
Maintenance Technician Summary : The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Key Maintenance Technician responsibilities :
- Inspect, maintain, and repair industrial equipment and machinery, including but not limited to conveyor systems, packaging machines, and manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and machinery, utilizing technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and replacing worn or damaged parts.
- Install, calibrate, and test new equipment and machinery as needed.
- Work collaboratively with production and other departments to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work, including parts used, time spent, and maintenance schedules.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
Maintenance Technician requirements
- Ability to work 3rd / Night Shift hours
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
