Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of events, including coordination with vendors, managing event timelines, and overseeing event logistics.
- Help with guest registration, check-in, and seating arrangements.
- Support the Events Coordinator in sourcing and negotiating contracts with venues and suppliers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events through various channels, including social media, email marketing, and print materials.
- Assist in budget tracking and expense reconciliation.
- Provide onsite support during events, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
- Knowledge of current event trends and industry best practices.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required.
