Job Summary :

The Entry Level Events Assistant at Webcraft Stylers supports the planning and execution of company events, including corporate meetings, trade shows, and product launches.

This role involves assisting with event logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site event management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn about event planning and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and coordination of company events, ensuring that all logistical details are managed effectively.
• Support the Events Coordinator in researching and securing event venues, vendors, and services.
• Help with the preparation of event materials, including invitations, brochures, and signage.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Assist with event setup and teardown, including arranging furniture, setting up signage, and managing registration.
• Monitor event timelines and schedules to ensure all tasks are completed on time.
• Handle attendee registration, check-in, and provide assistance during the event.
• Assist with post-event activities, such as collecting feedback, organizing materials, and processing payments.
• Provide administrative support to the events team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the successful execution of events.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in event planning or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
