Job Description :

The Senior AR Credit Analyst will play a crucial role in managing and improving the Accounts Receivables processes. You will be responsible for reconciling accounts, identifying root causes for discrepancies, and clearing past-due accounts.

This position also requires close collaboration with various departments, including customer service, sales, billing, and tax, to ensure accurate and timely resolution of financial issues.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies by identifying root causes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to clear past-due accounts and reduce risk.
  • Conduct customer credit analysis and assist in reviewing credit limits and credit blocks.
  • Prepare and review account summaries, reconciliations, and financial results.
  • Collaborate daily with other departments (e.g., customer service, sales, billing, tax, pricing) to address and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Assist in preparing financial analysis of accounts and recommend strategies to mitigate risk.
  • Participate in special projects and provide ad hoc reporting, including credit utilization and process improvement.
  • Document and suggest improvements for existing processes and procedures to enhance the overall efficiency of the department.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Accounting, Finance, or a related field is strongly preferred. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, with a focus on Accounts Receivables and credit analysis.
  • Strong working knowledge of the order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial statements and financial statement analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to resolve complex process issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Action-oriented with the ability to lead assigned tasks and work independently.
  • Experience with SAP Credit and Collection Modules required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Prior experience with credit analysis and risk management is preferred.
