Responsibilities :
- PerformCAD / engineering design and analysis to assist project lead completeprojectscope
- Designprojects include (but not limited to) site civil utilitiesstructures / bridges railroads streets highways and othertransportationsystems
- Completeplans preparation for all phases of design under direct supervisionof projectengineer / manager
- Usetechnical expertise for advancedproblemsolving
- Manageprojecthours / budget
- Maintainprojectdocumentation
- Attendteam and client projectmeetings
- Mentor / trainjuniorstaff
Requirements :
- B.S.in Engineering from an ABET accreditedcollege
- 4years of transportation designexperience
- PELicense (or working onobtaining)
- Transportationproject design / plan preparation experience working with IDOT CDOTor IllinoisTollway
- Experiencewith thefollowing :
- Geometricdesign of roadways intersections sidewalks ADA ramps driveways andparkinglots
- MOTdesign / traffic managementplans
- Topodotsoftware
- Processingsurveydata
- Managingcompany / client CADstandards
- Developingcost estimates for designprojects
- Proficientin MicroStation OpenRoads Geopak PowerCivil orInRoads
- Proficientin Bluebeam pdf software to perform collaborative planreviews
- Proficientin Autodesk CAD products (AutoCAD Revit Civil3D MEP)
- 1year of AutoCAD and MicroStationexperience
- AutoDeskCertified User / Professionalcertification
Salaryis commensurate withexperience.
