This position is a full-time, nine-month position and would start in Fall of 4 or Spring 5. Effective teaching, service and publication in refereed journals is required for tenure, consistent with the policies of the Norris-Vincent College of Business (NVCOB) and Angelo State University.
All candidates are expected to be considered Scholarly Academic (SA) at start of employment and to maintain that status in accordance with Angelo State University’s NVCOB Faculty Qualifications Guidelines.

About the Norris-Vincent College of Business
The Norris-Vincent College of Business at Angelo State University is dedicated to providing high quality education for the citizens of the State of Texas and beyond.
The NVCOB’s business programs are accredited by AACSB. There are three departments in the College : Accounting, Economics, and Finance;
Management and Marketing; and Aerospace Studies, which houses an award-winning Air Force ROTC detachment. In addition, the College is also the home for the ASU Small Business Development Center and the Center for Student Success, which provides advising and career services for all business students.
Over the past several years, the Norris-Vincent College of Business has grown steadily and today has approximately 1, undergraduate students and graduate students, awarding approximately undergraduate and graduate degrees each year.

About the Department of Accounting, Economics, and Finance
The Department offers the Bachelor of Business Administration degree with majors in Accounting, Economics, and Finance, and the Masters of Public Accountancy.
The Department has approximately students, full-time faculty members and one full-time staff member. The Department of Accounting, Economics, and Finance anticipates adding both a student-managed investment fund and an on-campus trading lab.
