Manager Financial Accounting / Reporting / Analysis

Locations : The ideal candidate should live within 50 miles of our FHPS Elevance Health Pulse Point locations. This position will work in a hybrid model (remote and office).

Candidates living within 50 miles of an Open Access Pulse Point in Eastern or Central time zones will also be considered.

This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office) 1-2x a week.

The Manager Financial Accounting / Reporting / Analysis Responsible for managing accounting and project teams. Responsible for day-to-day month-close and quarter-end accounting, reporting, and analysis functions

How you will make an impact :

Reviews journal entries and reconciliation, monthly and quarterly financial reporting and analysis, and complex and comprehensive analysis of financial results.

Prepares and presents financial reporting and analysis to senior leadership.

Manages SOX and other internal controls.

Coordinates and leads critical and complex projects. Prepares internal management reporting and manages internal and external audits.

Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports

Minimum Requirements :

Requires BA / BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business and minimum of 8 years progressively more responsible experience in a Controller or senior financial management position with a medium to large insurance company;

or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences :

CPA, CFM or CMA designation preferred.

MBA or Masters in Accounting preferred.
