Our client is a law firm seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join the firm's dynamic team. The successful candidate will play an instrumental role in managing and executing legal support duties for the firm.
If you have experience in legal documentation, sharp organizational skills, and previous trial experience, then this role is for you.
As a Legal Secretary, your key responsibilities will be :
Preparing various legal documents such as summons, complaints, and notices.
Writing and managing standard correspondences and documents.
Filing court documents with federal and state courts, ensuring proper protocol is followed.
Maintaining accurate records and follow-ups with process servers.
Proofreading all legal documents for accuracy, and ensuring their consistency.
Competently handling administrative tasks such as photocopying, managing outgoing posts, and file organization.
Utilizing your knowledge of legal terminologies in day-to-day functions.
Demonstrating excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
