We are inviting applications for the role of IT Application Engineer- Oracle EBS for a hybrid position in Dayton, Ohio. The role primarily involves the end-to-end development of software programs and applications, which includes research, design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
Responsibilities :
- Develop high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements and adhere to high-quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and developers to align application engineering and solutions with business goals
- Assist in the preparation and documentation of software requirements and specifications
- Utilize analytical skills to dissect business needs and formulate comprehensive technical specifications
- Design and architect solutions focusing on availability, scalability, and global reach
- Estimate and plan the required effort for projects
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance where necessary
- Manage and / or provide guidance to other software engineers and support analysts
- Foster the application of Agile / SCRUM and / or iterative development
- Develop solutions using SQL / PLSQL, Oracle Reports, Bi Publisher, OAF.
- Apply knowledge of Oracle EBS, Oracle EBS Financials, Oracle EBS Modules, Oracle SQL, Agile workflows, Core Java, Java, and Python
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
- Demonstrable proficiency in Oracle EBS, Oracle EBS Financials, and Oracle EBS Modules
- Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL is essential for this role
- Familiarity with Agile workflows is required
- Proficiency in Core Java, Java, and Python programming languages is a must
- A proven track record of developing and implementing IT solutions in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Demonstrable experience in project management and application development methodologies.
