Global Sourcing Analyst - Indirects (Downers Grove)

Purpose

The person hired into this role will support the Supply Chain and Sourcing Organizations by providing analytical expertise, support project management activity, and manage select supplier relationships. As the candidate grows in knowledge and experience, the analyst will be asked to assume greater levels of responsibility for leading strategic sourcing and other supply chain / operations improvement projects, and will be considered for other opportunities. The analyst will work on initiatives across a wide range of operating companies, as well as business needs.

Work experience in a manufacturing company a plus

Strong proficiency in all MS Office applications; advanced word processing and database skills a plus

Professional Procurement, Supply Chain and Project Management certifications (e. g., CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, PMP, etc.) a plus

• Bachelor degree and / or Graduate degree in Supply Chain, Business, Science, or Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in at least one (and ideally more) of the following areas : Procurement, supply chain, engineering / technical, manufacturing operations, management consulting, logistics, project management. Recent graduates with strong manufacturing supply chain internship experience will also be considered.
