Description
Essential Job Functions :
- Manage a large ongoing WestCare STOP Community Based Provider Contract Caseload, including all relevant correspondence;
- Ensure the maintenance of Provider Contract requirements; including proof of general, automobile and professional liability insurance coverage;
- cost report submission; and compliance with County zoning laws and business license requirements;
- Assist in the completion and submission of all licensing and certification applications to the Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs
- Review all Provider complaints and manage all respective correspondence to State, County and other relevant agencies to assure quality provision of services to participants;
- Update and manage administrative data in the computer database;
- Review and distribute all new / additional Provider administrative addresses, facility addresses, telephone information and provider information sheets to Case Managers and administrative staff;
- Review submitted commitment forms for accuracy and submit completed forms to the Office of Substance Abuse for approval;
- Manage the scheduling of all site visits for recently approved Providers and annual quality assurance reviews;
- Complete OSAP / STOP monthly reports;
- Supervision of Quality Assurance Assistants;
- Provide back up support to the Administrative Assistant;
- Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision and goals of WestCare Foundation; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications :
- Two (2) years experience working in an administrative setting managing a contract caseload, preferably in a social service setting;
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written;
- Excellent computer skills, MS applications, database;
- Good documentation skills;
- Regional travel is required;
- Ability to qualify for WestCare vehicle insurance;
- Ability to pass a criminal history background screening;
- Ability to obtain and maintain CDCR Clearance;
- Be able to multi-task; and
- CPR Certification, First Aid Certification and an Annual Tuberculosis test
- Ability to obtain and maintain clearance from California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR).
- As mandated by the State of California those employees who work at Residential, Outpatient, Sober Living, provide Mental Health Services, Administrative Staff or Transitional Living Facilities must be fully vaccinated and have received a booster.
Employees that have requested a Medical or Religious Exemption, which has been approved by Human Resources will be required to test for the virus weekly.
During your tenure with WestCare there may be new requirements, including, but not limited to vaccinations that are issued by local, State, Federal, and / or Funders that WestCare may have to comply with.
Should this occur Human Resources or appropriate personnel will inform you.
Education :
Bachelor degree in Human Services, Social Work, or similar field is required.
Working Conditions :
- The normal work routine involves no exposure to human blood, body fluids or tissues. Persons who perform these duties are not called upon as part of their employment to perform or assist in emergency medical care or first aid to be potentially exposed in some other way;
- Work is primarily performed in an office setting; and
- Some travel is required.
