Technical Writer
Seeking a technical writer for a national energy manufacturing company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the

- Northwest Houston
- $75,000.00-$90,000.00

Technical Responsibilities
Preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including, but not limited to unit manuals, test documents, standard operating procedures, etc.
- Understands basic concepts, responsible for writing technical copy for various types of documents for a project of similar complexity.
- Prepare and maintain operations documentation, user manuals, and technical publications.
- Prepare reports, responses, and briefings targeted to a wide range of audiences.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and requires multitasking of projects.
- Works with developers to produce quality documentation and training materials.
- Coordinates layout and design of documents
- Some experience in a Technical Writing program of similar scope, type, and complexity required.
Requirements
- HS diploma required & bachelor’s preferred.
- 5+ years technical writing experience within manufacturing required, and heavy industrial manufacturing within the energy sector preferred.
- Technical writing experience for prepatent, predesign, trademarks.
- Experienced in technical writing for manufacturing documents including schematics, engineering drawings, etc.
- 3+ years’ experience developing technical marketing material including but not limited to brochures, presentations, portfolios, etc.
