A day in the life of a Systems Administrator may include :

  • Performing configuration, monitoring, administration, and support on computer systems and enterprise-level applications including :

    • Software-as-a-Service Applications

  • CRMs
  • Network Infrastructure
  • Collaboration Tool Suite
  • Enterprise Contact Center
  • System Automation Tools
  • End-user Computing Environment
  • Industry-specific Applications
  • Responding to customer support requests including :

    • Taking ownership of support tickets.

  • Assisting team members with troubleshooting.
  • Updating help desk service ticket work notes.
  • Collaborating with departments and vendors to resolve requests.
  • Performing regular systems maintenance, patching, and audits.
  • Designing and implementing new technology solutions.
  • Tracking and reporting on software and enterprise licenses.
  • Participating in on-call, after-hours support.
  • Ensuring timely communication of maintenance requirements.
  • Providing professional and courteous support.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and professional knowledge.
  • Driving standards and best practices.
  • Enhancing the organization's reputation.
  • Being innovative and recommending new approaches.
  • Other duties as determined by business need.

    • This opportunity might be for you if you possess :

  • Bachelor / associate degree or related IT certifications plus 5+ years experience in an IT administrative role.
  • Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems; preference for Salesforce or GlobalWare.
  • Knowledge of current cyber security practices.
  • Knowledge of database technologies including MSSQL and MySQL.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Office365, Azure, and Intune.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages.
  • Solid communication skills.
  • General understanding of LAN and WAN technologies.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.

    • Occasional business travel, up to 25%, may be required.
