We are currently hiring for a PRN MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST - MT / MLS to work rotating shift within our Clinical Laboratory.
Compensation Range :
$41.51 - 66.41 per hour
Non Exempt
Night and weekend shift differentials up to $6 per hour!
Compensation package is based on your specific qualifications for the role.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or closely related field
- Current and unrestricted MT / CLS / MLS certification (ASCP or AMT)
Position Overview :
The Medical Technologist performs routine and special laboratory assays of patient specimens in all sections of Clinical Laboratory Medicine at an elevated level as a true generalist to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease and exercises independent judgment when evaluating the validity of test results prior to result reporting.
Operates and calibrates all equipment in the area of specialization, evaluates the validity of laboratory data, records test results, communicates with physician, pathologists and nursing staff regarding test procedures and results.
