Job Description
We are seeking a Test Technician to join our team in Brookfield, WI. This role is responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing printed circuit boards and electrical assemblies to ensure products meet quality and performance standards. Success in this role requires both technical troubleshooting ability and a positive, engaged attitude.
Responsibilities :
Perform subassembly inspections, unit and fixture testing, and PC board repairs.
Troubleshoot equipment down to the component level using schematics and test instruments.
Determine causes of malfunctions or defects and take corrective actions.
Work with high voltages and currents in a safe and compliant manner.
Provide troubleshooting support to customers by phone; occasional off-site service calls may be required.
Follow all safety, housekeeping, and clean-up procedures.
Requirements :
Associate’s degree in electronics or related field, or equivalent experience.
1–3 years of experience in electronics / electrical or electro-mechanical functions.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and bills of material.
Proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and hand tools.
Computer literacy and solid mathematical / reasoning skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently (occasionally more).
Preferred Qualifications :
Prior PCB repair and testing experience.
Manufacturing or electronics repair environment background.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
