Senior Application Administrator

This is a remote position.

The scope of the proposed serviceswill include the following :

• Providemaintenance support troubleshooting and updating / upgrading ofJira.
• Oversee the administrationconfiguration and support of Jira external application integrations(ex : GitHub and Bamboo) and Atlassian Marketplace 3rd partyapplications.
• Identify respond research andresolve program data or system software problems in consultationwith other employees and / orusers.
• Provide technical knowledgetransfer training documentation mentorship and guidance to Statepersonnel for requestedwork.

Requirements

Expertise and / or relevant experience in thefollowing areas are mandatory :

• Experience performing upgrade ofmultinode data center instance (9.x versionminimum)
• Experience updating Jiraapplication configuration files (e.g. setenv.sh server.xml web.xmlapplicationproperties database configurationetc.)
• Experience creating and updatingBash scripts
• Experience maintaining CRON tableentries
• Experience creating and updatingGroovy scripts
• Experience using RHEL commandline
• Experience monitoring andtroubleshooting issues with clustered nodes submitting and workingwith Atlassian support asnecessary
• Experience with TSQL andcreation / alteration of SQL Server database objects (e.g. storedprocedures views tablesetc.)
• Experience performing Jiraproject configuration including customized workflow post functionscustom listeners custom events and complex work item securityschemes
• Experience constructing JQLincluding advancedfunctions

Expertise and / orrelevant experience in the following areas are desirable but notmandatory :

• Certification as JiraAdministrator
• Set up and use of JiraAPIs
• Configuration of externalapplication integrations (ex : GitHub and Bamboo) and AtlassianMarketplace 3rd partyapplications
• AD / LDAP connection andconfiguration
• HTML / JavaScript
• Structure
• Zephyr Squad and / or ZephyrScale
• Basic understanding of loadbalancing andnetworking
