Our large and reputable construction client is seeking a Planning and Analytics Manager to join their team in Boston, MA as a full-time employee - OPEN TO RELOCATION .
This person will be responsible for managing a team of 3 individuals which focuses on planning analytics for the entire company.
This is a super exciting opportunity for a team that has 100+ projects in their portfolio currently. The Manager will work on data for construction scheduling.
The team you will manage focuses on developing analytics from construction schedules, IT, data analytics, and construction planning as well as develops reports, builds dashboards, supports analytics tools.
This Manager will have 3 goals :
Oversee a portfolio of 100+ projects and predict schedule risks.
Implement scheduling best practices and ensure compliance with company’s SOP.
Advance technology & data by implementing cutting-edge tools to improve scheduling processes.
MUST :
- 9+ years of experience in project scheduling with a proven record in managing large-scale projects (NOT IT projects, has to be construction, civil, electrical projects, etc)
- Comes from either a civil engineer or construction manager background + data analytics
- Subject matter expert in project scheduling
- 5+ years of MIN experience using P6 (also called Primavera)
- Bachelors degree required
- Hands on experience using one of these scheduling tools : Smartpm, Acumen Fuse, Steel Ray (2 years MIN exp preferred)
- Strong understanding of cost, and resource loading, administration, dataflow, and architecture
- Ability to lead process and people
- Active Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) from AACEI (or must get within 6 months)
- Deep understanding of cost control methods, particularly in the domains of commercial and residential real estate, and healthcare construction.
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, capable of conducting in-depth schedule analyses.
PLUS :
- Experience in Data analytical and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, PowerApps
- Will be managing 3 people- so experience there is huge plus
