Our clients are seeking Special Education Paraprofessionals in the Westland and Garden City areas for the 2024 / 2025 School Year, starting at $17 / hr depending on contractor's qualifications, availability, and skill.
CLIENT'S SUMMARY OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
- Helps prepare, collect and set-up materials for student participation, following teacher direction
- Provides instructional, behavioral, or physical assistance to students individually or in small groups at the direction of the teacher to reinforce and follow up instruction
- Assists with large group activities as drill work, reading aloud, and storytelling
- Maintains daily activity logs for your assigned student (s)
- Alerts regular teacher to any problem or special information about the individual student(s)
- Serves as the chief source of information for the assigned students to help any substitute teacher assigned in the absence of the regular teacher
CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
- Experience working with Special Needs Children highly preferred.
- Must be able to pass state and national background checks.
