Job Summary :
The Property Specialist takes leadership over all the church properties owned or long-term leased with a goal of creating and maintaining clean, safe, inviting and purposeful facilities / environments that integrate with the mission and vision of our church and its ministries.

Reports to the Director of Finance and Operations. Property Specialist seeks authorization for broad scope of projects, changes or repairs outside of budget.
Primary Responsibilities :
This role focuses on 5 areas : vendors, problems, projects, budgets, supervision.
- Manage outside vendors and contracts as needed for maintaining church properties. ( Cleaning service, landscaping, carpet cleaning, HVAC, etc )
- Solve facility problems on properties and create and maintain preventative maintenance schedules. ( Make sure fixes and repairs happen in a timely manner. )
- Oversee any large facilities projects on our properties ( Get bids, hire company and or project manager, offer accountability through to completion )
- Monitor facilities budgets and ensure work stays within resources.
- Supervise and develop a team of full-time and part-time facilities staff who execute set up, clean up, open up, lock up, for all church activities each week.
- Lead growth groups during groups season and participate in sacramental activities as requested.

- Ability to interact with and manage outside vendor relationships and work.
- Ability to manage a budget and spending within that budget.
- Ability to lead, develop and organize a team of FT and PT facilities staff.
- Ability to communicate clearly with those up, down, and all around the organizational chart.
Working Conditions / Requirements :
- Flex In and out of office to ensure work completion
- Office, computer, and other resources as needed
- Commute between campuses as needed to oversee projects
- Church staff is required to abide by the Cultural Expectations (tithe, attendance, conduct, etc.)
