Job Description
The System Director of Transfusion Services is responsible for providing comprehensive management and technical oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality testing services.
This role encompasses ensuring adherence to established standards, fostering a collaborative and accountable team culture, and driving continuous improvement through Six Sigma methodologies and key performance indicators.
The Director manages staffing and workload, oversees supplies and FTE expenses, conducts performance evaluations, ensures clear communication, and holds collaborative meetings.

Job Description
Education : Master’s Degree or Equivalent
Work Experience : AABB Inspection / Inspector, 9 years progressive work experience and 5 years management experience.
State licensure and / or professional certification requirements : MLS(ASCP), SBB
Proven experience in managing and overseeing laboratory testing services.
Strong understanding of laboratory standards, regulatory requirements, and accreditation processes.
Expertise in Six Sigma methodologies and performance improvement.
Excellent team building, communication, and leadership skills.
