The Manager provides strategic direction and program management for the design, development, delivery and evaluation of Child Welfare New Specialists training;
manages staff and oversees contract deliverables for the DHS Child Welfare New Specialist training program.
The Program Manager will be responsible for performing the following functions :
- Oversees, directs and prioritizes child welfare training program framework and deliverables in collaboration and alignment with Child Welfare Training leadership.
- Provides oversight for instructional design, project management, program management, training coordination, training delivery, evaluation, reporting and quality control.
- Responsible for program management and oversight of day-to-day operations.
- Responsible for daily program management throughout the program lifecycle.
- Aligns deliverables to the program's outcome.
- Meets with stakeholders to discuss program status and goals.
- Supervises staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Provides oversight of ongoing projects.
- Assesses program effectiveness and identifies areas of improvement.
- Manages program documentation, data collection, and reporting.
- Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
