About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and versatile Information Security Leader who can thrive in a dynamic start-up environment.
You will be establishing and leading efforts from the ground up.
Focus
- Audit the existing environments to determine the current state of affairs
- Build the 0 to 1 foundations of a world class information security organization while providing hands on support to accredit, implement, and deploy solutions.
- Create solutions that are scalable, repeatable, maintainable and secure to protect highly valuable intellectual property and data
- Prevent data loss to outside organizations, both onshore and offshore
- Build an insider threat program to monitor internal usage or abuse of data
- Write policy, procedure, and standards on the proper secure deployment and maintenance of our information technology systems that are in compliance with multiple governing laws and regulations.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for all things security related, maintaining documentation on them and advising cross functional teams on the underlying technologies and operations.
- Develop a security plan for a comprehensive threat model focused on preventing unauthorized access and theft of the model’s weights.
- Engage advanced third-party red-teaming that reasonably simulates relevant threat actors.
Ideal Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in information security, with 3+ years of experience operating either as a leader or principal level individual contributor
- Possesses a wide variety of knowledge around several security concepts, including network security, infra security, endpoint security, information access management, data security and application security
- Deep knowledge of both insider and outsider threat detection.
- Extensive knowledge of cloud security technologies (AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.)
- Hands on experience with creating security policies from scratch
- Strong knowledge of mobile device management and asset management
- Ability to create and deploy bug bounty programs
- Experienced in navigating large, complex, interactive systems
Annual Salary Range
$180,000 - $370,000 USD
