Senior Technology Strategist - AI / Analytics / Governance

As a Senior Technology Strategist you will help grow Daugherty’s thought leadership and market footprint in our Fortune 500 clients around AI, Data Governance, and Analytics.

You will act as a supportive member of the sales process to help craft solutions, determine / deliver value propositions and lead billable architectural advisory services.

You will be responsible for building executive relationships, communicate in-depth knowledge related to one or more of Daugherty’s capabilities, drive thought leadership and make value driven recommendations that increase Daugherty’s growth initiatives.

Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring regular communication and reporting to the executive team.

Responsibilities

Align Core Daugherty Solutions and Capabilities :

• Recommend capability investments including new solutions, services, and technologies.
• Lead the development of new internal capabilities.

Provide Client facing Enterprise Architecture Consulting leadership :

• Establish architecture, design, technology principles and guidelines.
• Establish new client Enterprise Architecture functions including the enabling organization, processes and tools.
• Create initial Reference Architectures.
• Build business cases for technology transformations.
• Develops Strategy for technology platforms.
• Educate various organizational departments about new frameworks and best practices.

Support Business Development Activities :

• Demonstrate Capabilities to sell and build trusted client relationships.
• Offer C-Suite Level advisory services to current and prospective clients.
• Make client recommendations to support transformation roadmaps.
• Works with Program Management, Client Management and Executive Team to craft client strategies related to elevating our thought leadership.

Qualifications

• 15+ years’ experience in the IT / Software industry.
• 7 years’ experience in professional IT consulting.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education background.
• Experience in positioning and selling information technology professional services Fortune 500 client base.
• Experience with the Design of the Enterprise Architect function including definition of the architecture process, deliverables, and governance.
• Led multiple technology transformations from an architecture perspective.
• Experience with one or more transformations, including : AI, Analytics, Governance, etc.
• Merger / Acquisition Technology integration.
• Hands-on, flexible, and willing to learn Daugherty’s proprietary method for selling.
• Be smart, professional, and collaborative with a track record of success.
• Organized and methodical; strong prioritization and negotiation skills.
• Operates with a propensity for thoughtful action and high output.
• Possess a positive problem solving, thought leadership-oriented mentality.
• Possess a high level of business acumen and executive level communication skills.
• Be able to work well with technical experts to achieve business results.
• Exhibit the willingness to coach and be coachable.
• Be willing to meet new challenges with curiosity, passion, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
