Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily operations of the auditing / analyst team and manage work assignmentsConduct coding audits and provide education on coding standards and documentation improvementsAnalyze metrics and trends to identify process improvements and report findings to leadershipRequired Qualifications, Training, and EducationHigh school diploma with required courses in Anatomy and PhysiologyRegistered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)Minimum of 5 years of hospital-based inpatient / outpatient coding experiencePrevious experience in auditing within an acute care setting preferredBachelor's degree in Health Information Management or a related field preferred
